Sidney Barangaroo project. Far areal. RSHP Architects

The largest project i have ever been working on. The site was 1.6 Km times 600m The amount of buildings that had to go in was quite overwhelming too
We had a lot of help from the staff at RSHP and some other offices as well.

Main street.

We produced 18 X 2 still images, and 2 X 8 minutes of animation for the competition. The 2 X because they needed a "Complying" and "Non complying" scheme. Coordinating the different scemes turned out to be challenging with all the info passing between the schemes.

City tunnel, first view of the site upon entering.

The visualisations had to make the project look like a new land mark for Sidney at the same time as it needed to tone down the impact of the project. This was acomplished by showing the grandiosity when entering the project and then the comparably small impact in the areals.

Main street, Eco friendly transport

The people that were working me on this animation were Chris Curtis, owner of 7-t and Ian Hutchinson. Considering we were only 3 people working on this project I think it all vent pretty smooth, even though we had ups and downs in the process.

View from a plane

We put in this image as a bonus, only exists for the "Non conforming" scheme. Comparing the original picture and the 3d image you can clearly see that the project is lifting the image of the entire area. One of my fav. images from the project.
